Morning Prep
The beginning stages of the Turner Wedding held laughter and so many fun details. The gals in the wedding party had their hair and makeup done at the Hilton hotel in Branson, Missouri so they could get a head start early into the wedding day. They changed into their iconic PJ sets, boarded the buses, and arrived at Graystone Valley where setup was underway and the venue buzzed with the vendor team busy at work. Brad wore a velvet black tux for the day and brought his details with him for the prep photos!
First Looks
The. Sweetest. First. Looks. Ever. *bawling my eyes out* Between mother of the groom, father of the bride, and Brad & Jessie seeing each other all ready for the wedding was SO SENTIMENTAL. Working with my clients for long periods of time leading up to the wedding means that I see all their family members names on paper for forever and only imagine what they're like. When I finally get to match the name to the face, it's always a blessing to find that my clients are related to and loved by amazing people.
Details
We love a good flatlay and beautiful details to accessorize the bride and groom!! Brad and Jessie focused on soft wintery colors for their details and calming accents like velvety blacks and satiny champagnes.
Mr. & Mrs. Turner!!!
Taking time for portraits was a huge priority for both the couple and our photography - Lainie! These came out beautifully and it's always so fun to see the personality of my clients come out in the photos!!
The Ceremony
Intimate and family oriented, this ceremony made us all lose some tears in celebration of Brad and Jessie! We had a ring warming ceremony, a sweet family member speak some kind words, and our couple show their true joy for the day!!
The Wedding Party
Black & Champagne is a chic combo that works with any season and was wonderful for this color set!!
The Reception
SO MUCH FUN!!! Kicking off the evening with some hype entrances and leading right into the cake cutting meant that after a quick greeting and prayer, we got right into the delicious dinner meal straight from the venue's own kitchens (in-house caterer)! We then had some speeches, formal dances, and then the lights dimmed and we brought the foam glow sticks out for the PARTAYYY. Jessie changed into a cute little dancin' dress with tennis shoes and danced the night away!!
